Tämä työ on tehty koulujen päättymisen inspiroimana. Tekniikka on akryylivärein toteutettu, käsin vedostettu ja näin ollen uniikki monoprintti happovapaalle taidekartongille, käyttäen väreinä preussinsinistä ja hopeaa. Jotain työstä kuitenkin näytti vielä puuttuvan, joten lisäsin taskuun herttaässän onnea tuomaan (niinpä tästä tulikin sekatekniikkatyö).  Teoksen mukana seuraa valkoinen aukkopahvi (paspis), jossa kuvan näkyvä osuus on 29x29 cm - ulkomitta vastaa 40 x 40 cm valmiskehysten kokoa, joten kehystäminen itse on helppoa ellet halua käyttää ammattikehystäjien palveluita.

Youth – springtime of life – full of possibilities, dreams and goals! Uphills and downhills belong to the life as well – yet when you keep your heart always with you, you will master all challenges.

Schools closed now for the summer and inspired me to create this artwork. This is an unique hand-pulled  acrylic monoprint on acid free artist paper, using prussian blue and silver. It seemed to me something is missing, so I added an ace of hearts in the pocket (so this became a mixed media artwork)

The white passepartout (mat) will be included in the delivery. The visible size of artwork is 29x29 cm – outside measurements 40x40 cm, thus matching the size of standard frames on the (European) market. Easy to frame by yourself unless you wish to use the services of a professional frame studio.

Life is a stage where we all have our own roles and we play with the cards given to us. Life is full of chances, and it is always good to have a Joker in the pocket. This artwork belongs to my graphics series Playing cards of Life. It is an unique hand-pulled acrylic monoprint on acid free artist paper, using prussian blue and matt silver (which looks quite like white in the photos). I slipped a Joker Poker playing card into the pocket to bring luck - so this became a mixed media artwork.

Suomen kesä on lyhyt mutta intensiivinen, ja osaammekin ottaa siitä kaiken irti! Jokainen kesä jättää meihin omat muistijälkensä, ja onneksemme mukavat muistot eivät haalistu vaan kulkevat mukanamme. Siirrymme syksyn kautta talveen, uuden kevään ja kesän lupaus mielessämme. Tätä kaikkea mietiskelin tämän teoksen syntyessä. Tekniikkana käytIn grafiikan monotypiaa, käsin vedostaen happovapaalle taidepaperille. VärIt ovat akryylivärejä, tässä myös metallinhohtoista kuparia ja kultaa ilmentämään kuinka aika kultaa muistot. Työn mukana kulkee sydänkortti, joka on pujotettu vyötärönauhan alle, ikään kuin muistojen pankiksi.

Työ kuuluu sarjaani Elämän Pelikortit. Kyseessä on ainutkertainen taideteos, joka toimitetaan kuvan mukaisen luonnonvalkoisen ja happovapaan 40x40 cm aukkopahvin/paspiksen kera. Kuva-ala on 29x29 cm. Voit helposti sujauttaa tämän mieleiseesi 40x40 cm kehykseen joita on markkinoilla mukavasti saataville – ellet sitten päätä viedä kehystettäväksi. Finnish summer is short but intense, and we have learned to fully enjoy each summer day! Every summer leaves new memories in us, and the good thing is, nice memories don’t fade but follow us through years. After each summer we switch into autumn mood and further to winter, looking forward to next spring and summer. This is what I pondered when creating this artwork.

Technique used is monotype, hand pulled. Colours are acrylics, including some copper and rich gold to depict time tends to golden our memories. I decided to slip a hearts card at the waistline, as a sort of memory bank. This belongs to my graphic series Playing cards of the Life and it is an unique artwork, delivered with the 40 x 40 cm acid free natural white passepartout as shown. The visible size of the image is 29x29 cm. You can easily slip this to any 40x40 cm marked frame you like, or take to a professional framer. The second photo shows how this looks in simple black wooden frame.

Woman’s life: full of chances, dreams and goals, uphills and downhills – yet all challenges can be mastered using the power of female energy! This work belongs to my series Playing Cards of Life. While creating this I was thinking of all the young women who will often need an extra dosis of energy in their life.

The technique used is an unique hand-pulled acrylic monoprint on acid free artist paper, using prussian blue and bold pink. I added a queen card in the pocket, to give it’s owner more female energy. Thus, this monoprint turned to a mixed media artwork. The white passepartout (mat) will be included in the delivery. Olen niin kiitollinen puhtaasta luonnostamme, kaikkina vuodenaikoina mutta erityisesti kesällä, kun ilma on täynnä linnunlaulua ja voi vaikka sukeltaa lähimetsään metsäkylpyyn ilman päällystakkia. Silloin olen vapaa ja onnellinen, enkä ihmettele yhtään vaikka löytäisin sinisiä ja keltaisia höyheniä. Poimin ne mukaani, muistaen kuinka etuoikeutettu olenkaan kun saan elää vapaassa maassa.

Tekniikka on akryylivärein toteutettu, käsin vedostettu ja näin ollen uniikki monoprintti happovapaalle taidekartongille, käyttäen väreinä preussinsinistä ja hopeaa - farkut ja pitsiliina pääsivät myös hommiin... Jotain työstä kuitenkin näytti vielä puuttuvan, joten lisäsin taskuun sinisen ja keltaisen höyhenen - niinpä tästä tulikin sekatekniikkatyö. Teoksen mukana seuraa valkoinen happovapaa aukkopahvi (paspis), jossa kuvan näkyvä osuus on 30,5x22 cm - ulkomitta vastaa 40 x 30 cm valmiskehysten kokoa, joten kehystäminen itse on helppoa ellet halua käyttää ammattikehystäjien palveluita. Viimeinen kuva näyttää, miltää teos vaikuttaisi ohuissa mustissa puukehyksissä.

I am so grateful for our clean nature, at all seasons – especially in summertime when the air is full of bird’s song, and I can dive to the next forest to have a forest bath, without needing to wear an overcoat. That makes me feel free and happy, and I am not surprised at all when I find blue and yellow feathers. I take them with me, remembering what a priviledge it is to live in a free country.

Kevät! Pitkän talven jälkeen se yllättää meidät kaikki kun vihdoin lämpö voittaa kylmyyden, lumet sulavat ja linnut aloittavat kevätkonserttinsa. Uskomatonta kuinka viestit menevät perille, vaikka ilma on täynnä tviittejä! No, niinhän se on ihmisilläkin – kun kohde on oikea kutsu kyllä kuullaan.

Tämä on mielikuviteltu, käsin vedostettu monoprintti, toteutettuna akryylivärein (sinisiä ja pronssia) – siis yksittäiskappale jonka painamiseen käytin lasten farkkutakkia. Toimitukseen kuuluu happovapaa luonnonvalkoinen paspis/aukkopahvi jossa kuvan näkyvä osuus 25x18 cm ja ulkomitta 40x30 cm sopien näin markkinoiden vakiokehyksiin.

Spring! After the long winter it surprises us each time, as finally the warmth wins over the cold, the snow is gone, and the birds start their spring concert. Unbelievable how the messages can reach the right partner even the air is full of tweets! Actually, it’s the same with people – when the target is clear the invitation will be heard.

This is an imagined, hand-pulled monoprint using acrylic paints (blues and copper)  - thus one of a kind artwork where I used kids' jeans jacket for mark-making. Will be delivered with the natural white, acid-free passepartout (mat) as shown. the visible size of the image being 25x18 cm and outer measurements 40x30 cm, thus matching the standard size of frames available on the European market.
